Bintan Trip

Before we go to the land fill we went to the fish collection centre ,we saw many different types of fishes there .The picture above was a man cutting the shark's fin. They do not care whether it is baby shark or an adult shark they just kill it to earn money it is quite cruel because they kill a whole pile of it just for their fins only.

After going to the land fill we went to the water village. Its a village built just above the water. We saw many different buildings which we hardly see in singapore because most buildings in singapore are high rise flats. At the side of some houses it was ffilled with rubbish which was not usually seen in Singapore.Living in a almost Litter-free country is very fortunate.

By visiting the orphanage in Bintan made me feel how fortunate I was to live in Singapore.Unlike the orphanage in Singapore, the environment was not really as good as the one we have in Singapore. Some of the pupils cried when you we left the orphanage. After visiting it made me feel that I should not take things I have now for granted ,we must appreciate those things .
