Pulau Ubin Trip On 29 Oct 2010

On 29 Oct 2010,Primary 6A went to Pulau Ubin to do Orienteering & we also learnt how to use a compass.The trip is to "Gear Up" and to "Prepare" us for the upcoming Bintan Trip on 8 Nov 2010.

This picture which I have taken above is at the "Changi Ferry Point Terminal".Firstly I thought that we are going take a Ferry to Pulau Ubin,but it turned out that we have to take a bumboat to get there.There is no ferry :'(

I love the scenery when I get to the Changi Ferry Point Terminal.It was very beautiful & I love the view of the sea. :)

At this point of time,I was in the bumboat enjoying the beautiful scenery.

After the bumboat ride,we finally reach the destination! :)

This picture above shows the entrance to Pulau Ubin.We were very excited when we reached there.We can't wait to start the challenges after reaching Pulau Ubin.

This picture shows my group.Actually we were supposed to be in seperated groups,but unfortunately we were forced to join the boys group.

As you see,3 of the boys in the group are looking sad & the rest are happy.Well,thats another story.

Oh! I forgot! Our group name is "The UniQue Raptors"

Remember I said that we were in different groups?

The girls group (on the right) came up with their group name "The UniQuez Crew" & the boys group (on the left) came up with theie group name "The Raptors".

So,when we found out that we have to join our groups together,we came up with the name "The UniQue Raptors"

So,thats how the story started.

The sad face is another story.

It all started when we rushed & didn't managed to finish the challenge.It was all due to the Instructor's punctuality.

But we still moved on & we get to see some interesting animals & plants in the forest.Including Monkeys!!!
