Bintan Trip

It was a memorable experience at Bintan! I especially loved the Mountain Climbing and The quality time spent at the orphanage. I didn't really break down when we had to leave the orphanage as I know that we have to be brave for them as we have no idea their sufferings inside. At the Seafood restaurant that we went afterwards, we had a 'Appreciate Your Parents' talk. During that talk, one of our instructor told us that he was an orphanage too and that he was adopted. Everyone broke down immeadiately. Even the boys which was surprising because they always act 'macho' everywhere, even at school. We had a great dinner there and we headed back to Agro Beach Resort.

There, we were taken to the beach and our instructor sang us a song, Linger. After singing the song, he told us to look up at the sky and told us to wait. I knew it had to be fireworks as there's nothing you can see in the sky at night except fireflies, which we also saw.The fireworks was really beautiful and I knew it must have taken them a lot of trouble to shoot fireworks on the last night JUST for us!

I'm very thankful to the teachers who made this trip possible, Mr. Affendy and Mr. Wesley Chong. I'm also very thankful to the three instructors who made the trip more lively,interesting and of course funnier, Instructor Zul, Instructor Afiq(Bieber) and Instructor Yixin.

This is a picture at the summit of Mount. Bintan. It was tiring but we made it! We were so cheerful up there until we had to go down! It was more slippery and there weren't support at some parts. But, we made it too!

This is an insect repellent. The tip of this thing is hot and so do NOT touch it! I accidentally touched it went I finished going down the mountain, and since I was sooo tired, withoout realising, I touched it. And now my finger is hurts! =(

The picture below shows me and my frinds with one of our three instructors, Instructor Zul! He's the kindest and funniest! We will all miss him!
